ICSO looking for missing teen

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Wednesday May 2, 2018 a report was filed with the Iredell County Sheriff’s office in reference to a child running away from a group home in the Troutman area.

The report was assigned to Detective Patrick Dixson of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit. The child’s name is Tayviona Vandiver. Tayviona is a black female weighing approximately 110 pounds. Tayviona stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and has short, black, dreadlocks.

Tayviona is believed to be in the Charlotte area, specifically near Glenwood Drive. Multiple attempts have been made to locate Tayviona but were unsuccessful. Tayviona is also believed to be in the company of a black male subject and may be in danger.

Cheryl Morrison (original press release below) was located by officers over the weekend and indicated she did not need assistance.

PRESS RELEASE

Statesville, NC: SPD has been searching for Cheryl Jane Morrison since she was reported missing Monday afternoon, May 7, 2018.  Her information and photo were posted on the Facebook pages of Iredell Crime Stoppers and SPD on May 8.  We have received a couple leads in the past couple days and officers have been following up with those leads, speaking with friends and known acquaintances, as well as checking all her known locations, but Morrison’s whereabouts are still unknown.

Cheryl Jane Morrison, a 53 year old white female, height approximately 5’10”, approximately 195 pounds, was last seen at the Brookwood Inn in Statesville on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00pm.  There was a possible sighting of her on Monday in the Signal Hill Drive area.  Cheryl has salt and pepper hair and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing a striped shirt and shorts.

Morrison could possibly be in a 1993 Nissan Truck bearing NC registration plate PBF-2148 or a 1996 Geo Metro bearing NC registration plate DCL-3858.  She may also be traveling by way of a moped.
