MOORESVILLE, NC. (June 27, 2017) – Langtree Charter Academy Upper Campus has hired a new principal, Mr. Christopher Scholl. With more than ten years of leadership experience, he most recently served as director of operations and head of upper school at Pine Lake Preparatory Charter School, one of Charlotte’s largest charter schools.
Scholl earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and business management from Marietta College in Ohio. He earned his education teaching certification in social studies from the University of North Carolina and his master’s degree in education administration and leadership from the University of Phoenix.
“Mr. Scholl’s extensive background and unyielding dedication to doing whatever it takes to bring our students to greatness will provide a smooth transition and a fantastic new year for our students, families, faculty and staff,” said Joel County, regional director of education in North Carolina. “He brings with him a proven track record of success in both student achievement and staff recruitment and retention. We are confident that he will bring Langtree Charter Academy Upper Campus to the next level.”
