TROUTMAN (WSIC) – One person was injured in a jet ski accident near Lake Norman’s Windemere Island Sunday evening.
A spokesperson for the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office tells WSIC this person was being pulled from the water shortly after 5:00. Windemere Island is on the north side of Lake Norman near Troutman.

Iredell County EMS says this individual’s injury was non-life-threatening and that he or she was taken to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. NC Wildlife will be the agency investigating the accident.
