Politics and procedure continue in the argument over I-77 toll lanes.

Anti-toll group Widen I-77 yesterday filed a stay request, asking a judge to delay Friday’s court date for oral arguments in the lawsuit.

Group founder Kurt Nass says their lawsuit is a last resort.

He’s hoping the stay will be granted to see if the Charlotte City Council takes action Monday, directing their regional transportation rep to vote against the project.

Ultimately, they want to see if other options will stop it.

Let everyone know about this
