$1.7 million economic development incentive approved in Iredell

A currently un-named company can receive an economic development incentive of up to $1.7 million dollars following a vote by Iredell County Commissioners this week.

That’s contingent on an investment of $66 million over the next seven years and the creation of twenty-seven new jobs. This according to Board Clerk Retha Gaither who says the company was approved for an incentive several years ago, but that the offer expired before action was taken.
