Unresponsive man pulled from burning Statesville residence

RADIO SCRIPT A man was pulled from a burning Deaton Street home in Statesville overnight. The fire department was on-scene around midnight and reported finding an adult male unresponsive inside the residence. That individual was taken to the hospital for treatment. The fire appears to have started in the kitchen, but remains under investigation.
