I-77 toll contractor fined $1.3 million

The contractor building I-77 tolls in Iredell and Mecklenburg Counties is being fined $1.3 million dollars. WSIC news partner Fox 46 reports that I-77 Mobility Partners is accused of not removing I-77 lane closures and I-277 ramp closures at the proper time Tuesday morning. The boater whose body was recovered from Lake Norman Tuesday night has been identified.
