Local students receive scholarship dollars

Local students receiving scholarship money – Statesville High student Addison Mixson will receive more than $75,000 over four years to cheer at Wingate. Statesville’s Thursday Evening Farmers Market has presented its first ever scholarship to Luke Johnson who plans to continue the heritage of his family’s dairy farm in Olin after attending Mount Olive University.
