Filing closes with five candidates for Statesville Mayor

Filing for this fall’s elections is closed and the race for Statesville Mayor has grown to five candidates. Karen Keaton has joined the list. She tried unsuccessfully in 2013 to get elected to the Iredell County Board of Commissioners as a Democrat.
