After carefully monitoring the weather forecast for tomorrow, Mooresville Graded School District will operate on a 2-hour delay for students only on Friday, January 5, 2018. According to the National Weather Service, Mooresville will be in a wind-chill advisory tomorrow morning with very cold temperatures expected and wind chill values falling to between zero and minus 5 degrees over night. Before and After School program will also operate on a two hour delay. This delay will allow the sun to come up and temps to begin warming; however, it will still be chilly so please make sure your child is dressed warmly for the day. If you are new to our district, a 2-hour delay means that your bus will arrive two hours after its normally scheduled time and the school start time will occur two hours after your child’s normal school day start time. Thank you and stay warm!
