PRESS RELEASE

Statesville Police Department is looking to the public for anyone with information regarding these suspects in robberies that we are investigating that have occurred in recent weeks. The attached still shots from surveillance video are the best photos we have been able to obtain of these suspects so far.

If you recognize anyone – their clothing/ bags/etc, if you’ve heard anyone mention any of these incidents, or if you think you have any information that could be helpful to these investigations – please contact SPD as soon as possible. You can call the non-emergency telecommunications line at 704-878-3406 or leave a confidential tip on the Iredell CrimeStoppers line by calling 704-662-1340. Callers can remain anonymous and there are CASH REWARDS possible for information that lead to arrest(s).

There have been no injuries during any of these incidents; suspects have only displayed weapons, the clerks have complied and handed over the cash before the suspects flee either on foot or in a waiting vehicle (one report mentioned possibly a Dodge Durango, gold in color). The suspects are wearing baggy clothing and covering their face with hoods and scarves in most cases. These incidents have happened in a matter of seconds and SPD was on scene each time minutes after the clerk was able to call in which case the suspects had already fled with no indication of travel direction.

We are in the process of gathering additional surveillance video from surrounding businesses, but are releasing these photos in hopes that someone may have information that could help these investigations.
