Three arrested following Mooresville search in B&E case

PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, NC: Around 5:22 a.m. the Mooresville Police Department was notified of three people breaking into cars in the Parkmont Enclave community off Hwy 21. Officers responded to the area and located three individuals who fled on foot from police. Additional officers responded, and a perimeter was established. An extensive search was conducted utilizing K9 units from Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, Cornelius Police Department, and the Mooresville Police Department. Drones were also deployed for tracking purposes.

Just after 9 a.m. the three suspects were located walking on Hwy 21 just north of Brantley Acres. Officers responded to the area where the suspects were taken into custody without incident.

Briana Tanisha Miller 25, of Charlotte has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, 3 counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, 3 counts of larceny from a motor vehicle, possession of schedule 2 controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle for the sell of controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Malachi Gibson 18, of Charlotte has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny from a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon, and resist delay and obstruct.

Shawn Mark Sanders 16, of Charlotte has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, 3 counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, 3 counts of larceny from a motor vehicle, and resist delay and obstruct.
