Mooresville PD charges two with kidnapping in assault investigation

PRESS RELEASE

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Just after Noon on Sunday, November 5, an officer responded to Cannon Pharmacy and located Jamie Shane Richard, 41, of Maiden who had sustained severe injuries to his head and face. The victim reported he had been struck by an axe or hatchet at 2424 Statesville Highway, then ran through the woods to Cannon Pharmacy for help. The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center for treatment. Prior to being transported, the victim identified two suspects.

Michael Bruce Adams, 41, of Mooresville has been arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Second Degree Kidnapping. He is being held in the Iredell County Jail under a $150,000 secured bond.

Jesse Paul Super, 36, of Mooresville has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Kidnapping. He is in the Iredell County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond.
