Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Sunday July 22, 2018 a report was filed with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office in reference to possible sexual assault involving a 13 year old female victim.
The victim disclosed to the responding deputies, the assaults occurred while living at 597 Celeste Eufola Road between 2010 and 2015 at the suspect’s home. The case was assigned to Detective Sergeant J. Lowrance of the Special Victims Unit for further investigation.
During the investigation, the victim was interviewed at the Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center. The victim identified Jacob Allen Kranhenbuhl as the suspect in the case. Based on interviews and statements gathered in the investigation, investigators were able to obtain multiple felony warrants on Jacob Allen Kranhenbuhl.
Jacob Allen Kranhenbuhl was arrested on Friday July 27, 2018 and taken to the Iredell County Detention Center where he was served with eleven counts of Felony First Degree Sex Offense with a Child. Jacob Allen Kranhenbuhl received a 1,000,000.00 dollar secured bond in these matters from Magistrate T. Thompson.
