  • Pinky’s
  • NY Bagel

Officers responding to the crime scene observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed and attempted to catch up to the vehicle. Officers were unable to catch up to the vehicle and lost sight of it in the area of Gilead Road. A short time later, officers responded to the area of Beatties Ford Road and Carrington Pointe Drive for a single vehicle collision. Upon arrival, a witness advised all of the subjects inside the vehicle had run from the scene. A CMPD K9 unit assisted with a track and was unable to locate any of the occupants. Officers observed evidence inside the motor vehicle which appeared to be from the commercial breaking and entering’s.

The two subjects detained have been identified and criminal charges are pending as the investigation continues.
