Four facing drug charges following Troutman traffic stop

PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Friday July 13, 2018 Deputy C. Kerley initiated a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Hoover Road and Murdock Road in Troutman.

Deputy C. Kerley smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle when he made contact with the driver of the vehicle Holly Aileen Christopher.  Deputy D. Caskaddon and Deputy H. Bath responded to assist with the vehicle stop due to multiple people being in the vehicle.

While searching the vehicle and the occupants of the methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were seized from the occupants.

Based on this vehicle stop and subsequent search:

Holly Aileen Christopher was arrested and charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and received a 5,000.00 dollar secured bond.

Shana Renee Willis was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia and received a 5,000.00 dollar secured bond.

Dawn Michelle Raines was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and received a 2,500.00 dollar secured bond.

Christina Marie Walkup was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and received a 2,500.00 dollar secured bond.

Magistrate P. Tutterrow set the bond on all these suspects.
