Armed robbery reported at Hickory jewelry store

HICKORY – On 08-09-2017 at approximately 11:00am the Hickory Police Department received a call of a armed robbery at Jewelry Exchange located at 2213 Hwy 70 SE in Hickory, NC. Two male subjects, both carrying handguns and wearing motorcycle helmets entered the store. Both subjects are believed to be black males.

During the incident, one suspect broke a jewelry case taking multiple items. Both suspects then fled the area on one motorcycle. The motorcycle is described as being a cruiser type with a black gas tank, chrome on the engine area and black wheels.
