Man accused of committing Statesville burglaries arrested following hospital release

He went from the hospital to the jail – Marcus Brown is accused by the Statesville Police Department of committing two burglaries and was arrested yesterday after his release from CMC. One burglary happened on Stockton Street, the other on Buffalo Shoals. Police say Brown was shot by the victim in the second case.
