Vikings fall in second round of playoffs

The South Iredell Vikings fell in the second round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 3AA state playoffs in a 34-22 loss to the Hickory Ridge Ragin Bulls. Brady Pope threw for 20 completions on 237 yards, 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. The Vikings finished their season at 9-4.
