I-SS bus involved in minor accident

An Iredell-Statesville Schools bus was involved in a minor accident on Chipley Ford Road at Museum Road Tuesday morning. According to a Statesville Police report, a vehicle was turning onto Chipley Ford Road from the State Employee’s Credit Union driveway and hit the front corner of the bus. Iredell-Statesville Schools closing early

Iredell-Statesville Schools has announced that it will close early Monday due to concern about inclement weather weather. Elementary schools will release at 12-noon. Middle and high schools will release at 1 p.m. Prime Time care and athletic events have been canceled.
