Freightliner’s Cleveland plant closed today

Freightliner’s Cleveland plant is shut down today in honor of an employee who died after being injured on the job. According to a statement from Daimler Trucks North America, Ralph “Junior” Butler was injured just under two weeks ago while performing maintenance on a piece of equipment and has since passed away.

Yadkin Bank parent company acquired in merger

The parent company of Yadkin Bank is has signed a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by F.N.B Corporation. The payment for Yadkin Financial Corporation will be an all-stock transaction valued at more than $27 per share, or $1.4 billion. The companies hope to complete the transactions early next year.
