Iredell Rest Area closed by death investigation

The I-77 Northbound Rest Area near Mooresville closed earlier this afternoon after a medical situation that resulted in a death. An EMS spokesperson on-scene wasn’t allowed to share much, other than saying the man’s body was still inside the building and that arrangements were being made. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office was on-scene to investigate.
