Statesville PD investigating string of residential break-ins

Numerous reports of residences being broken-into in Statesville over the weekend. Locations have included Walnut Street, Davie Avenue, Rolling Lane, East End Avenue, West Front Street and elsewhere. In some cases, nothing was stolen. Other places, it was everything from books and electronics to liquor and a gun.
